Speaker RoseAnne will present the key geopolitical hot spots and their implications for oil markets.

Speaker Profile
RoseAnne joined Verisk Maplecroft, a global risk analytics firm, in mid-2015 and heads its risk analysis in the oil and gas segment. Previously she led Wood Mackenzie's efforts in Country and Asset Risk. She has over 15 years of experience and has counselled clients in industry, government and the financial sectors on strategy and risk assessment. During her time at Wood Mackenzie, she launched the Asset Risk Index (ARI) service, which assesses country risk across the oil and gas life cycle. She was also responsible for asset valuations and identifying upstream trends, with a focus on Mexico and Andean countries.

Prior to Wood Mackenzie, she was Senior Analyst on Latin America in research and consulting at PFC Energy in Washington, DC. Having joined the firm in 2002, she took the lead on regional energy issues and advised companies on opportunity screening, country entry strategies and scenario-building. She also has expertise in National Oil Companies (NOCs), assessing their strategies and evaluating segment performance. Previous to PFC Energy, she worked at Kissinger McLarty Associates.

RoseAnne holds a masters degree from Georgetown University and bachelor degrees in Economics and Government with honors from the University of Texas.
