Yayasan PETRONAS continues its annual series of Sentuhan Kasih Festive programme in Sabah, with food aid and hygiene kit contribution to 500 B40 families in Penampang, Tambunan and Keningau in conjunction with Kaamatan.
The handing over of contribution for recipients in Penampang took place yes terday at the Koisaan Cultural Village, here. Penampang District Kadazandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) Vice Chairman Caesar Mandela Malakun, representing KDCA Deputy President Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Clarence Bongkos Malakun, handed over the contribution, accompanied by Head of PETRONAS Sabah and as we progressively transition and adjust to the new normal, it is important to keep in mind the needs of the less fortunate.
We hope that this contribution will help to ease the burden during these challenging times. Siti Ayu Abdul Wahab Labuan Siti Ayu Abdul Wahab, and Sabah State Welfare Services Department Director Jais Asri.
“As we progressively transition and adjust to the new normal, it is important to keep in mind the needs of the less fortunate.
We hope that this contribution will help to ease the burden during these challenging times,” Siti Ayu said in her speech at the event.
Among the items contributed are rice, cooking oil and sugar, Covid-19 RTK test kits, hand sanitisers, and face masks. Each year, Yayasan PETRONAS contributes necessities aimed at improving the communities’ well-being and fostering a memorable celebration for the underprivileged during the festive seasons.
