    Borrowing

    How can I reserve a book?
    If the item you need is on loan you can usually reserve it. First of all check PULSE to see if the item you require is in stock. If you have checked the shelves and the required item is not there, you can reserve it by phone at 03-2331 3807 ro email us at precise@petronas.com.my
    How can I reserve a new book that is on display at the PRC?
    These books are displayed for a limited period of time and can be reserved during this period. They are then made available to users who have made reservations at the library's counter. Reserved books are issued to users on a first-come-first-serve basis.
    How do I register to become a member of the PRC?
    Please use PULSE registration form to register as a member. As a member, you are allowed to borrow books, periodicals and non-book items from the PRC and access the Library Online Databases.
    How do I renew borrowed items?
    Normal loans can be renewed if they are not required by other borrowers. This can be done either in person at the library's counter, by phone at 03-2331 3807 or via PULSE.
    How do I return borrowed items?
    You can return them to the library counter during library hours or put it in the book drop located near the PRC entrance.
    How long can I borrow an item?
    • All books from PRC Shelf 02 - PRC Shelf 30 maybe borrowed for 30 Days (1 Month),
    • Reference books at PRC Shelf 01 is able for loan for 14 Days,
    • and current periodicals for 3 days.

    International Standards

    Where can I get username and password for International Standards available in PRC?

    ​Due to PRC licensing and document supply agreement with the  service provider, PRC does not provide users with any user ID and password for access.
