Dr. Chris Bendall
Director Engineering, Energy & Georesources at Springer Nature will present a comprehensive introduction to Springer Nature's strategy and the latest trends in Oil & Gas research.

Originally a geologist with experience in gold exploration, Chris's PhD and subsequent research focused on the development of Laser Ablation MC-ICP-MS methodologies for trace element and isotope geochemistry. Since 2006, Chris has worked at Springer (now Springer Nature) with much of his publishing career spent in Earth Science editorial as well as several years building Springer's journal program in the Middle East. Since 2014 Chris has focused on the corporate markets and in particular on understanding the needs of our customers in the Oil and Gas sector, ensuring that Springer Nature continues to increase the relevance of our content portfolio for our O&G customers.
